Laying the Foundation for RTBMO’s Big Spring Build

Before our “Big Spring Build” could take off, the RTBMO Team completed two crucial projects for Basecamp. These efforts ensured our Veterans and volunteers had the infrastructure in place to expand and improve the camp for years to come.

On February 14, 2025, our great friends at American Transport and Storage (AT&S)—Larry, Johnna, and Blake—delivered the second 40’ storage container to Basecamp. Their skill and determination navigating rugged Ozark roads made this delivery possible, giving RTBMO the secure space needed to store tools, materials, and supplies for upcoming builds. 

Then, on March 23, Tom Reiter of R&G Hardscapes – Eureka, MO, completed the concrete pad construction, creating a solid foundation for new facilities at the camp. Tom’s craftsmanship and commitment to quality ensures every future addition to the Basecamp is built to last.

These two essential projects paved the way for our Big Spring Build, marking another major milestone toward making RTBMO Basecamp a premier destination for Veterans and their families to rest, reconnect, and “Return To Base.”
